Private Beach Records ("Private Beach," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the terms that apply when you send us music or other materials. By using this site or submitting anything to us, you agree to these terms.

When you use our submission form, we collect the information you provide: your full name, artist name, email address, phone number, social media links, and streaming links to your music. Our hosting provider may also automatically log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to review your submission, evaluate your music, contact you about it, and run and improve our business. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share your information

We may share your information with service providers who help us operate the site and manage submissions, such as our website host and form provider, and, where relevant to considering or advancing your music, with our label and distribution partners. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data retention

We keep submission information for as long as needed to evaluate it and for our legitimate business records, after which we may delete it.

5. Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at privatebeachrecords@gmail.com. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and to request deletion.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party services such as Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those services.

8. Children

This site and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Submissions and unsolicited materials

Please read this section carefully. It applies to any music, recordings, links, files, ideas, or other materials you send us through our submission form, contact form, email, or any other channel, whether we asked for them or not ("Submissions"). Sharing a link to your work is for demonstration and review only. It does not grant us any right to use, release, or exploit that work, and it does not obligate either of us to anything.

• You must have the rights. By sending a Submission, you represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to it and have permission to share it with us, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
• Submissions are not confidential. No Submission creates any confidential, fiduciary, or agency relationship between you and Private Beach. Do not send us anything you consider secret or wish to keep private.
• No obligation. We are under no obligation to review, respond to, use, return, or keep any Submission, and we may discard or delete it at any time.
• No compensation. You are not entitled to any payment, credit, or compensation for any Submission unless and until we enter into a separate written agreement signed by both parties.
• Independent development. We receive many Submissions and independently create, commission, and receive material that may be similar or identical to yours. You agree that we owe you nothing, and you waive any claim, if our current or future projects resemble your Submission.
• License to review. You grant Private Beach a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, review, evaluate, and internally share your Submission for the purpose of considering it.
• Release and indemnification. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Private Beach from any claims arising out of your Submission, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claim resulting from a Submission you sent that infringes or violates another person's rights.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
